Secret Scent Box Review

Perfume is one of the most personal things we buy, and because of that it is so important that you are able to invest in the right scent for you. You want something that personifies your personality, and has people remembering you when you leave a room.

That’s why a perfume subscription box like the Secret Scent Box makes so much sense. Being able to trial 3 different, luxury perfumes each month means you can keep a scent rotation all year round whilst trying new brands that you may have otherwise skimmed past in a shop.

What I love about this box is that it’s firstly small enough to fit through the door – avoiding an awkward trip to the neighbour or local post office to collect your missed parcel is always a plus for me! Secondly, it’s just so luxe. From the box itself, to the insert which tells you all about each scent and down to the bottles that hold the perfumes. Time and money has really been invested in to the look and feel of Secret Scent Box – and it shows.

Retailing at £15 you may think this is a little steep, however surprisingly these 3 bottles hold an entire months’ worth of scent! Which I think makes the price very reasonable. Providing you with variety and the unique opportunity to try a number of scents at your leisure.

The January box contained samples from Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford and Juicy Couture. In all honesty I don’t think I would have tried any of these in a perfume store, so it was really nice to have the opportunity to do so through this subscription box.

Each scent is different but all were pleasant, in fact I loved the Tom Ford ‘Orchid Soleil’ that I want to buy a bottle – it’s delightful and reminds me of blissful holidays in the Summer in some oddly specific way.

Whilst there are many subscription boxes available I think I have been most impressed with this one. It’s great that you know exactly what you are going to get, in terms of 3 perfumes rather than a beauty box which you may or may not be happy with. The time that has gone in to making it so elegant is something I really value too.
