I was approached a little while ago regarding a food event in London with Monica Galetti. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend but instead Monica kindly agreed to answer a few questions on video for me!
Best known for her role, since 2009, of sous-chef on Masterchef: The Professionals, Monica was born in Samoa and grew up in New Zealand. She trained there and moved to the UK in the late 90s. She has previously represented New Zealand and Oceania in varying chef competitions. She is 34, and has been working for Michel Roux Jr for 10 years.
Monica is now the chef ambassador for the new Liberté Greek Style yoghurt range.
