If your weekend is coming up, and you’re sick of doing nothing – then do something. Working hard all week is tough, so when the weekend swings by, you may be happy just to chill out and do nothing. But that can get old quite quickly, and you may find yourself spending the weekend bored and alone, wishing that you’d gone out and made the most of the couple of days that you had off.
If you’re struggling for ideas though, there are plenty of things that you can do; you just have to know what you want.
Here are some ideas to get you started.
If you’re a competitive one of sorts, or you just like to have a fun game with your friends, then bowling may be for you. Who doesn’t love those iconic clown looking shoes? – They’re awesome… Get a whole group of friends and family together, divide everyone into teams, and whoever loses can buy the next round of drinks. As for the winner, that’s for you to decide.
If you like to have a party once in awhile, then why not plan a night out with your friends and have a good old boogie. If where you want to go tends to be quite busy, then look on the club’s website to sort out Drama table booking, so you can be assured of being on the guestlist.
If you don’t have anything suitable to wear, then you have a great excuse to go shopping for that hot new outfit. Invite your friends so you can all get something fresh, while giving each other fashion advice. Then hit the town and dance the night away into the early hours of the morning!
Invite your other half, or a few of your close friends, and go to a nice restaurant for dinner instead of the microwave meal waiting for you in the fridge. Dress up in something fancy and enjoy being waited on for a change. Fill yourself up with delicious food and divine beverages throughout the evening, and go home on a full stomach, after great company – perfect for a good night’s sleep.
How long has it been since you went to the cinema? Maybe you used to all the time, and then just stopped. Do you remember how it used to make you feel? Seeing stories come to life on the big screen, pulling you into the world that you forgot existed, and living there amongst others for an hour and a half or two…
Get that magic back and watch a movie the proper way, with a bucket of popcorn, and a fizzy drink that’s bigger than the size of your own head.
These are just a few of the things you can get up to on a Saturday night, but remember, you can still stay at home without being bored. Who said something was wrong with having a night in, with the takeaway of your choice, something nice to drink, and watching your favorite series back to back?0
