Gardeco Tara Firebowl

Something I have seen many others with, both in real life and on Instagram, and therefore something I have been seriously coveting for some time! This Gardeco Tara Firebowl is the perfect outdoor accessory and something that can be used all year round – except for when it’s raining of course!

I gave it a try over the New Year period and was definitely delighted. This was a great addition to a lovely evening sipping mulled wine with friends and it also meant that we could use our outside decking area rather than being stuck inside the whole evening.

The “Tara” is a large capacity, steel firebowl which means it burns bright and long – perfect for toasting marshmallows or keeping you warm whilst you enjoy a few drinks with friends outside. This firebowl also features a lovely criss-cross design which I think makes it a whole lot prettier than some other versions I have found elsewhere. It also means you can peep through the design to see more of those wonderful flames.

How does it work? Well the best thing about this Gardeco Tara Firebowl is that you can burn any kind of fuel in it, whether you have wood or coal available. This means you can get started quickly with it and keep it alight all evening very easily.

The firebowl is very sturdy and I have no worries about it toppling over, the 3 strong legs it features keep it balanced and means that any knocks won’t have your decking up in flames!

What I love especially is that this is a garden accessory for all year round. Whether for an apres-ski style evening in the winter or cocktails in the summer when the night turns a little chillier. This will always be a focal point and ensure that even the coldest of your friends can continue your enjoyable evening outside.

Retailing at £149 (although it’s currently on sale as a substantial discount) the Gardeco Tara Firebowl is a great investment piece and will last you years. I would recommend storing in a shed or garage where possible to keep it in pristine condition when the weather turns a little wet, but during the drier months this would last well when left in the garden.

(I gratefully received the Gardeco Tara Firebowl from to review, but all opinions are my own)
