For many the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum is a holy grail product. I personally had never tried it before!
But now that the days are getting colder and I am spending my days going between central heating and icy winds, my hair has started to suffer. I have found it becoming frizzy straight after washing, on the second day after washing and at all other times too! I just can’t seem to do anything with it to stop this.
I have tried the age old trick of applying hairspray to a hairbrush and lightly smoothing the hair, but to no avail. So I decided to dive right in and give the Frizz-Ease range a try.
I was surprised to discover that there were in fact 24 different products in the Frizz-Ease range! From glossing mists to masques and overnight serums to curl revivers, the brand has thought of just about everything!
I thought I would stick to the basics though and see what difference they made. I selected the hydrating shampoo and conditioner, plus of course the serum.
I was my hair every other day and so have used these products for about 5 washes now. After shampooing and conditioning I squeeze out any excess water from my locks and distribute a pea sized amount of serum throughout my hair. I then dry and style as usual.
What I have found is that this has made my hair gradually less frizzy through use, although I will admit that when I am on my second day it does return a bit. Although I will put this down to the amount I move around when I am sleeping!
Overall I am really impressed, the serum doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy like I had thought it might and the shampoo/conditioner have a pleasant scent that I enjoy using.
I will be repurchasing for sure!0
