Tesco is somewhere that I would associate purchasing my weekly groceries from, perhaps a few pieces of clothing but I have never really considered it for beauty products. Whilst I might take a look to see if my favourites are on offer I have never spent a huge amount of time in the section.
But that has all changed since I discovered the “Along Came Betty” range. With a retro themed look these products are cute, kitsch and do exactly what they say on the tin.
I not only fell in love with the look of these products but the price point too! Tesco has not let us down on this, the two products I tried, Detox Mask Pure Pores and Prime of your Life Radiance Primer were £5.49 and £6.99 and respectively. Prices that certainly won’t make your bank account weep!
The primer is a delight to use, you only need a small amount and it is light enough to spread easily. Other primers I have tried have been so thick that you have to use a lot to cover your face, this is not the case with Prime of your Life and it will certainly last you a good month or so. As the name of the product suggests it promotes radiance and leaves a subtle shimmer/glow.
The detox mask I am incredibly impressed with. It is very thick, as you can see from the photo despite being on its side it wasn’t budging! The mask works in just 15 minutes and helps clear any blocked pores you may have. It’s easy to rinse off and I reckon the pot will last you 5+ applications.
I can’t wait to try a few more things from the Along Came Betty range, particularly the eye primer which is just £1.50!
